Bio

Mikey was born in Denver Colorado, he received a BA in photography from the Art Institute of Colorado.

In 2006 Mikey spent 6 months in Los Angeles working under David LaChapelle.

After graduating from college Mikey had the opportunity to work as a staff photographer for The Sports Authority.

In 2008 Mikey moved to NYC. While in NYC Mikey worked at Factory studios (now Gum Studios). While managing the studio Mikey learned video and gaffing, helping him to become a Director of Photography for many commercials and music videos.

Mikey currently lives in Madison where he is raising two young children and is working as an internationally published photographer and DoP.
